Yerba Mate Tucangua Tradicional 500/1000 g
A classic mate from Argentina that is extremely hard to come by in Poland. That is why, meeting the expectations of many yerba mate lovers, we have added it to our current range together with a few other mates.
Tucangua Tradicional is a classic variety made of fairly coarsely cut leaves, sizeable pieces of stem and a small amount of dust. In short - the classic Argentinian cut. Thanks to this, almost any bombilla will handle it with ease. A big advantage of this variety is that it lasts a long time. With a standard serving (about 50 g of leaves), the flavour only starts to fade after roughly 500 ml of water has been poured through it. From then on you will notice a drop in intensity and effect, until the lavado stage - in this case after about 1 l of water has passed through the leaves.
Longevity is one thing, but how does Tucangua taste? The flavour is complex, silky and long-lasting. Many people will pick up plum, floral, vegetal and slightly earthy notes, with average acidity and light bitterness. This makes Tucangua a good choice both for beginners and for seasoned mate drinkers looking for new and interesting mates with unique flavour notes. They should not be disappointed with this new arrival.
