Yerba mate Adelga Mate Guarana 500 g
Another new option from the Adelga brand, this time aimed at lovers of the distinctive taste of guarana. This interesting herbal blend contains poleo, green tea, peppermint and guarana flavouring.
The Paraguayan holly is fairly coarsely cut, with some stems and the herbs mentioned above. There is only a little dust, so it is easy to prepare. The dried leaf has an interesting scent reminiscent of bubble gum, with a light sweetness and mint and tea accents, without any sharp notes.
It is suitable for preparing both the traditional way, hot, and cold. It is undoubtedly aimed at fans of Mate Amargo (bitter), and even at fans of Mate Dulce (sweet/sweetened), thanks to the guarana flavouring, which may reconcile the two camps :)
The infusion tastes sweetish and bitter, with medium astringency and noticeable mint, nettle, tea and citrus accents.
Adelga Guarana will effectively quench your thirst on hot summer days and improve concentration and focus; in terms of energy it is rather mildly stimulating. The leaves hold up to refills for quite a long time and release their flavour for many hours.
