Yerba mate Adelga Mate Limon (lemon) 500 g
Something for fans of fruit-and-herb blends from the Adelga brand, of which we currently have three versions in our range. Who knows, maybe we will add more versions in the future? :)
Inside the bag you will find fairly coarsely cut leaves, some stems and visible added herbs: poleo, green tea and lemon verbena. The amount of dust is small, which makes it easy to prepare. The leaf has a pleasant minty-citrus scent and is relatively mild, without sharp notes.
It can be prepared both the traditional way, hot, and cold. It is undoubtedly aimed at all fans of Mate Amargo (bitter), while fans of Mate Dulce (sweet/sweetened) may be disappointed :)
When you open the bag, you notice a light, hay-like aroma with noticeable minty, tea-like and citrus notes. The scent is relatively mild and not too heavy, which promises a pleasant blend.
Inside the bag you will find both larger and medium-sized leaves, some fairly finely cut stems, a moderate amount of dust and additions visible to the naked eye: poleo, lemon verbena and green tea.
The infusion tastes hay-like and grainy, with low-to-medium astringency and bitterness, and there are also citrus, minty, tea-like and nettle-like notes.
Adelga Limon will effectively quench your thirst on hot summer days and improve concentration and focus; in terms of energy it is rather mildly stimulating. The leaves hold up to refills for quite a long time and release their flavour over many hours.
