Yerba Mate Natura Seleccion Especial 500 g
A classic mate with no additives in a selected version from the town of Obera in the central part of the province of Misiones, produced by SANESA, which also owns other brands - Costa Norte and Mathienzo.
Natura Seleccion Especial contains specially selected, coarsely cut yerba mate leaves and stems and a minimal amount of dust. The leaves look fantastic and tempt you to prepare them in your matero (mate gourd) straight away.
The taste of Natura Especial can be described as moderate but complex. You will find a fairly intense bitterness, light astringency, a delicate sweetness, and woody and plant notes. It is also worth adding that the flavour lasts a long time; the leaves have a high yield and allow for many hours of mate drinking.
Its stimulating effect is moderate, but I recommend caution so that a late-evening brew doesn't cost you a night's sleep :)
