Yerba Mate Andresito Seleccion Especial 1000 g
A yerba from the Andresito brand, which you have already had the chance to try in the 500 g version - this time we also have a larger, more economical pack for you. In terms of flavour balance and energising effect, the Especial version is probably the best of all the yerbas from this brand. We tried it in 2023 and it caught our attention straight away - now we can share it with you too!
It comes from the province of Misiones, close to the strictly protected Iguazu National Park, where great care is taken to maintain a healthy, natural environment, with ecological production and processing aimed at achieving maximum purity of the product.
Inside the gold, red and black pack you will find a beautiful-looking dried leaf: fairly coarsely cut leaves with medium-sized stems and a small amount of dust.
The Andresito Seleccion Especial infusion is an interesting symphony of flavours, with plenty of grainy and nutty notes, noticeable astringency and moderate bitterness. There is also a light sweetness (creaminess) and notes of roasted nuts, while smoky notes are practically absent.
Its yield is above average - it holds up for a long time through refills, which makes it an ideal choice for everyday drinking, especially on more demanding days.
In terms of energy it is one of the strongly energising varieties - maybe not as strong as this brand's Despalada, but solid and substantial. It will certainly give you energy during long hours of mate drinking with this tasty yerba mate.
