A new arrival from Andresito - in fact one of three new products from this brand coming to our range. Until now we only had the Tradicional (traditional) version; time for other options.
Andresito is a yerba mate that comes from the province of Misiones, close to the strictly protected Iguazu National Park, where great care is taken to foster a healthy, natural environment, ecological production and processing aimed at achieving maximum purity.
Yerba Mate Andresito Despalada contains mainly medium-sized leaves of Paraguayan holly with an intense aroma and flavour. Judging by the smell and the cut alone, we can take it for granted that it will be just as interesting and strong as, for example, Salam, Ytacua or don Lucas.
Despite its fairly fine cut, this new version of Andresito is no trouble to prepare - quite the opposite. It is extremely easy to build a mound with it, which, as we always say, guarantees a mate session at the highest level of flavour and effect.
The aroma of the dried leaves can be described as strongly malty, grainy and nutty; it is quite intense and makes you want to fill your gourd right away. Almost from the very first pour it has an intense, distinctive malty-nutty taste. Bitterness and astringency are fairly intense, with no smoky or heavy notes. In the background you will also find woody notes, a slight saltiness and minimal sweetness.
It stays highly intense for a long time and provides an above-average energy boost.
Andresito Despalada is without doubt an extremely successful option aimed at lovers of solid flavour experiences from their infusion.
