Yerba Mate Andresito Seleccion Especial 500 g
The latest offering from Andresito and, in terms of flavour balance and stimulating effect, probably the best of all from this brand. We had the chance to try it in 2023 and it caught our attention straight away - now we can share it with you too!
It comes from the province of Misiones, close to the strictly protected Iguazu National Park, where great care is taken to foster a healthy, natural environment, organic production and processing aimed at achieving maximum purity.
Inside the gold, red and black packaging you will find beautiful-looking leaves: fairly coarsely cut, with some medium-sized stems and a small amount of dust.
The infusion of Andresito Seleccion Especial is an interesting symphony of flavours, with plenty of grainy and nutty notes, noticeable astringency and moderate bitterness. There is also a light sweetness (creaminess) and notes of roasted nuts, with practically no smoky notes.
Its longevity is above average - it holds up well to many refills, which makes it an ideal choice for everyday drinking, especially on more demanding days.
In terms of energy, it is one of the strongly stimulating versions - perhaps not as strong as this brand's Despalada, but solid and substantial. It will certainly give you energy during many hours of drinking this tasty yerba mate.
