Opis produktu

Yerba Mate Sinceridad Hierbas 500 g

Light and mild, with a noticeable herbal touch. An excellent choice for a late afternoon or a calmer day. Produced by the Aguantadora brand in Monte Carlo, in the province of Misiones, Argentina.

A herbal mate that is good hot and cold

The products of this agricultural cooperative are dried without smoke, using only hot air. Such yerba mate varieties are called sin humo. Drying the harvested yerba mate leaves and stems usually takes 6 to 8 hours.

This variety can be described as subtle and mild, good for drinking both the classic way, with water no hotter than 75-80 degrees Celsius, and cold as terere. It is an interesting choice for those who have not yet had the chance to try yerba mate because of the potentially too intense infusion. Here, the herbal additions significantly reduce the bitterness. Besides yerba mate leaves and stems, the blend contains poleo, peppermint and chamomile.

It is also worth reaching for when you fancy a mate relatively late in the day without the risk of a sleepless night. Sinceridad Hierbas offers a moderate dose of stimulation and a pleasant herbal aftertaste from the bouquet of herbs it contains.

The Sinceridad brand and its many years of experience

Yerba mate cannot be grown in many places around the world. This is due to the climatic conditions it needs to grow freely. It can be grown in the mountains and can withstand snowfall and temperatures down to -6 degrees Celsius, but in general it is a plant that likes high temperatures and plenty of sun. Another important factor is the right soil pH, which should be in the range of 5.8-6.8. It is no coincidence that today it is grown on a large scale only in the subtropical climate of Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil, between the 18th and 30th parallels and from the Atlantic in the east to the Paraguay River in the west.

It is worth mentioning that it is produced by the Monte Carlo agricultural cooperative in the province of Misiones, Argentina, which has been operating since 1930. So the company certainly has considerable experience in growing yerba mate. The cooperative also produces other mates known under the Aguantadora and Pampa brands.
