Yerba Mate Natura Tradicional Suave 250 g
A classic mate without additions, with a relatively mild character and flavour, from the Natura brand. Available in a new version, in a small trial pack.
The plantation is located in the town of Oberá in the central part of the province of Misiones, and the yerba is produced by SANESA, which also owns other brands: Mathienzo and Costa Norte.
Natura Tradicional Suave contains mainly fairly coarsely cut leaves and medium-sized stems of Paraguayan holly, with minimal dust. Anyone will handle it, regardless of their yerba experience so far.
The flavour of this mate can be described as relatively mild and light, hay-like, grainy-nutty and woody. It certainly won't put you off at the beginning of your adventure with Paraguayan holly. You will notice moderate bitterness, an astringent aftertaste on the tongue, and light sweetness combined with minimal astringency. The whole is rounded off by tea and malty notes with a token smoky touch.
In terms of stimulation it works moderately, providing the right amount of energy for several hours of mate drinking while remaining long-lasting.
