Yerba mate Lapacho Rosa Terere 500 g
Until now we have had one traditional offering from Lapacho Rosa in our range; now it is time for a version made for terere, i.e. cold yerba mate. In the pack you will find fairly coarsely cut leaves with an admixture of stems and a small amount of dust.
A niche plantation in the southern part of the province of Misiones (Establecimiento San Nicolas) that uses a traditional drying method with eucalyptus wood, which gives the yerba its distinctive flavour and aroma. Add natural ageing lasting 24 months and the result is bound to be a success. The production process is carefully supervised to guarantee the highest possible quality. The drying method is the same as for the traditional version, but the two differ significantly in how the leaves are cut.
The yerba's name is linked to the story of a Lapacho tree that remained (grew) among the Paraguayan holly on the plantation - hence the name Lapacho Rosa.
Because of its coarse cut, Lapacho Rosa Terere has a relatively mild flavour that is released gradually with each refill. The cultivation method and ageing time make it an excellent choice for cold preparation, although if you want to try it hot, nothing stops you.
