Yerba Mate Kurupi Katuava Burrito 500 g
A new take on the well-known and highly regarded Kurupi Katuava in a revamped version. This time there is more burrito in the overall blend, with katuava in second place. The blend also contains burrito flavouring. As a result, the katuava flavour is no longer as prominent as in the previous version.
Kurupi Katuava Burrito is an interesting offering from Paraguay. Besides the additions mentioned, it has a base of fairly finely cut leaves mixed with larger pieces of stems and a moderate amount of dust. It won't pose much of a problem for most bombillas when you drink it using the so-called mound, i.e. a slope of leaves.
The herbal additions significantly reduce the bitterness and smoky notes. The infusion itself is very refreshing and minty, even though it contains no mint. That's all thanks to burrito, whose flavour is similar to mint.
It is perfect for classic hot preparation as well as cold with ice cubes. Be sure to try this new version and judge for yourself whether the changes to the blend suit your taste.
