A refreshing and properly energising Paraguayan mate with added herbs: lemongrass and mint. Kurupi Cedron Kapi y Menta is an excellent choice to prepare both hot and cold. Served cold in summer, it refreshes and gives you energy to get going, while in the colder months, drunk hot, it provides a solid dose of energy. Its composition of course includes yerba mate in the form of finely cut leaves, fairly large stems and a good amount of dust.
When you open the pack, you will notice a pleasant herbal and citrus aroma that tempts you to try the blend straight away.
Kurupi Cedron Kapi is fairly intense; the bitterness is noticeable but slightly softened by the herbal additions. In the background you will find pleasant citrus and mint notes, a light smokiness and astringency.
The added herbs largely dominate the classic taste of mate, which is why it is recommended for those looking for new flavour experiences they have not yet had a chance to try.
