Yerba Mate Hierbas Silvestres Blend no. 5 "Bienestar" 500 g
One of five options from the Hierbas Silvestres brand with an interesting herbal composition. This blend contains 60% Yerba mate plus chamomile, peppermint, boldo, anise and poleo.
Hierbas Silvestres "Bienestar" is an exceptionally interesting mate, as each ingredient plays a role and can be tasted to a greater or lesser extent. Since yerba mate clearly dominates, its flavour and bitterness are of course noticeable, but they are quite clearly toned down in favour of the other additions, especially chamomile. It gives the infusion sweetness and creaminess, and together with the other additions creates a very pleasant combination that is hard to imitate.
Peppermint, boldo and poleo bring pleasant refreshment, while anise adds a touch of oriental character and spicy notes. A very successful composition that is perfect for drinking both hot and cold as a refreshing terere.
Hierbas Silvestres Blend no. 5 is not among the particularly stimulating mates; it is rather moderate in terms of energy. We recommend it mainly to those looking for unusual mate with a unique flavour. It is not necessarily meant for those taking their first steps in the yerba world or for people who do not like chamomile.
