Meet Flor de Lis Barbacua, a classic Argentinian mate with an intense flavour, plenty of character and above-average stimulation. Produced with respect for history and a tradition that in this case goes back to a recipe from 1887.

Although this mate is produced in Argentina, its profile is closer to Paraguayan varieties. It is cut relatively finely, and the amount of dust is moderate - there is not too much of it and it will in no way get in the way of enjoying a first-class infusion

Interestingly, the brand proudly displays the date 1887 on the packaging as the date of the original recipe for processing mate using the traditional Barbacua method, which is still used today. That is why Yerba mate Flor de Lis is bold and very smoky, with an astringent taste on the tongue, a noticeable smoked note and the scent of a campfire.

It has an exceptionally high yield and is full-bodied, allowing for long mate sessions and providing a considerable dose of energy. It is definitely not a version for those taking their first steps in the yerba world or for those who are not keen on smoky and intense varieties. However, if you like mate with bite and character, Flor de Lis is an excellent choice
