Yerba Mate Che Ra'a Menta Boldo 500 g
A new brand in our range: a strongly herbal option from Che Ra'a in a cult combination, with added mint and boldo and no flavourings at all.
Fans of strongly herbal Paraguayan blends will be pleased. Che Ra'a is made of fairly finely cut leaves with an admixture of stems and a moderate amount of dust. It is a perfect base for refreshing terere on hot days.
The blend has a pleasant aroma in which mint plays first fiddle, but this is not a mainly minty yerba. Boldo can also be sensed, and the scent of the blend is undoubtedly pleasant and quite aromatic.
From the first pour, the boldo and mint make themselves known, but they go well with the yerba bitterness and astringency, which are slightly softened by the herbs. There is a subtle smokiness and saltiness in the infusion, which means this blend is not only for drinking cold.
You can also confidently prepare it hot; the mint-and-tea aftertaste then of course grows stronger and is more noticeable than in terere. When you want a strong refreshing effect, go for the cold version. The choice is yours!
Che Ra'a Menta Boldo offers a solid dose of energy from the infusion and good yield: the yerba withstands refills for a long time and keeps its flavour at a satisfying level. Definitely worth trying for every fan of the Paraguayan style.
