Yerba Mate Armino Clasica 500 g
Previously available only in a large 1000 g pack, it is now also available in a smaller 500 g pack. A Uruguayan classic with a solid energising effect, well worth trying!
As befits the Uruguayan style, the pack contains mainly finely cut leaves, a minimal amount of stems and essentially no dust in the blend. Once the pack is opened, the aroma of the dry leaf is grassy, light, mild and not too sharp.
What does Armino taste like?
The first pours are definitely mild and delicate in flavour. Over time the infusion becomes more intense and gains strength. You will notice distinct astringency and bitterness, creaminess and, in the background, vegetal and tea-like notes. The flavour is neither smoky nor heavy, so it will not be an obstacle at any stage of your adventure with Paraguayan holly. Just remember the classic preparation method, i.e. the so-called mound.
Armino Clasica is a very high-yield yerba that holds its flavour for a long time and offers above-average stimulation. If you have not yet had a chance to try Uruguayan-style yerba mate, this is a good one to start with.
