As befits the Uruguayan style, the pack contains mainly finely cut leaves, a minimal amount of stems and practically no dust. When you open the pack, the aroma of the leaves is grassy, light and mild, not too sharp.
How does Armino taste?
The first infusions are definitely mild and delicate. Over time, however, the brew gains intensity and strength. You will notice distinct astringency and bitterness, creaminess and, in the background, vegetal and tea-like notes. The flavour is neither smoky nor heavy, so it will not be an obstacle at any stage of your yerba mate journey. Just remember the classic preparation method, the so-called mound.
Armino Clasica is very long-lasting, holds its flavour for a long time and has an above-average stimulating effect. If you have not yet tried a Uruguayan-style yerba mate, this is a good one to start with.
