Yerba Mate Arcoiris Cedron y Burrito 500 g
New to the Polish yerba mate market, straight from Paraguay, from the Arcoiris brand, whose name means rainbow, which you can see in its logo. Here we have a strongly refreshing version enriched with burrito and lemon verbena, as well as verbena and burrito oils.
Arcoiris Cedron y Burrito is an excellent choice for cold preparation with ice cubes on hot summer days, but it works just as well brewed hot the classic way. The pack contains fairly finely cut yerba mate leaves and stems with a medium amount of dust.
Thanks to the herbs and oils, the yerba bitterness is neutralised quite strongly, so it should not bother even those taking their first steps in the rich world of yerba mate. This Arcoiris blend has an intense aroma which personally reminds me of a popular brand of peppermint chewing gum. So not only the taste but also the aroma is very inviting.
The flavour lasts quite a long time through successive infusions, and the resulting brew has a solid energising effect, providing energy for a good few hours.
