Opis produktu
Aguantadora Tradicional - an Argentinian classic
A yerba mate in a small trial pack with a very pleasant flavour, which won the award for the tastiest mate at the Caminos y Sabores food fair held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2016. Produced by the well-known and respected Monte Carlo plantation, which has been on the market since 1930.
This classic mate, straight from the province of Misiones, contains both yerba mate leaves and stems. It has a moderate bitterness and a fairly solid dose of energy from its tasty infusion.
Ideal for everyday drinking or for treating a friend who would like to find out how classic Argentinian yerba mate tastes and works.
Dried with hot air (sin humo)
Mate of this brand is made using a specific production process: right after harvesting from the plantation, the yerba mate leaves and stems are first passed over a fire to prevent fermentation, and then dried exclusively with hot air for 6 to 8 hours.
This way of drying the leaves is called sin humo, which means the product is smoke-free. After this treatment, the herb is naturally aged for 18 months in dedicated rooms. This allows the leaves to develop character and their distinctive astringency and bitterness.
