Erva Mate Ximango Chimarrao Tradicional 500 g Vacuum
The second option from Ximango, a Brazilian brand relatively little known in Poland. Hermetically sealed to preserve the beautiful colour and aroma of the yerba.
Ximango Tradicional is a strongly grassy, somewhat tea- and nettle-like, astringent, bitter and slightly creamy Chimarrao-type yerba. It is one of the most demanding to prepare because the leaves are so finely ground that their texture is somewhat reminiscent of flour. So in this case you cannot do without a bombilla with a flat, round filter, the so-called bomba. Brazilian INOX stainless steel bombas work best here. Brazilians, more than anyone, know how chima should be drunk.
The yerba itself has a light grassy aroma with a delicate grain note. In the pack you will find finely ground leaves plus an admixture of medium and coarsely cut stems. Its energising effect is rather moderate, and it is solidly long-lasting.
Despite the relatively short shelf life guaranteed by the manufacturer, Ximango in the Tradicional version still keeps its intense green colour and aroma. All thanks to the vacuum packaging, which ensures proper product quality.
