Erva Mate Parana Tostado (roasted) Vacuum 300 g
A newcomer on the Polish yerba mate market, coming from small-scale family production by the Erva Mate Parana brand.
Thanks to vacuum packing, the mate retains its exceptional flavour and aroma. It tastes simply excellent with milk, as mate de leche. In short, this means pouring warm milk over the leaves instead of water. The sweetness of the milk makes an interesting combination with the flavours of the roasted mate.
Mate de leche should only be drunk from glass or ceramic vessels. Do not use vessels made of natural materials such as gourd or wood, as it may damage them.
The pack contains medium-sized leaves and stems of Paraguayan holly that have been roasted, which significantly affects their flavour and aroma.
EMP Tostado can be prepared in many ways, one of them being the aforementioned mate de leche, i.e. yerba with milk. Another well-known method is to pour only cold water over the leaves. To prepare a refreshing terere with Erva Mate Parana Tostado, fill the vessel with 1-2 cm of leaves and then pour ice-cold water over them. The perfect option for hot summer days.
In an infusion made with warm water or milk you will notice notes of nuts, almonds, dark chocolate, cocoa and even coffee. A true symphony of flavours that you will certainly remember for a long time.
If you choose the classic preparation with warm water, we recommend using less of the leaves, i.e. no more than 1/2 of the vessel's volume. This is because in this combination the infusion will be extremely intense and strong, so to avoid that, use a little less mate than usual.
The Erva Mate Parana brand is a small family business growing and producing Paraguayan holly. Until now its products have rarely been available in Poland, so it's worth taking the opportunity to try this excellent product made with passion and love.
