Erva Mate Barao De Cotegipe Chimarrao Premium 1000 g Vacuum
A classic, bold, quintessential and stimulating yerba mate straight from Brazil, made of selected, finely ground yerba mate leaves with some medium-sized stems. Chimarrao is most popular in the southern part of Brazil.
Erva mate Barao consists mainly of very finely ground leaves of a deep, intense green colour. The contents are vacuum-packed, so they keep their beautiful colour, aroma and flavour for longer. From a fresh delivery, available in an economical 1000 g pack.
Barao De Cotegipe Premium is a yerba mate that can only be prepared the Brazilian way, i.e. using the chimarrao method: pour the leaves into one side of a large gourd and fill the empty space on the other side with water that has been cooled beforehand. Wait until the mate soaks up the water, then place a bombilla with a large, flat filter in the gourd, pushing the mate to one side so that the filter rests against the leaves, forming a so-called mound. Then top up with water. It can be refilled many times, until the flavour is completely washed out and the aroma is gone.
Erva mate Barao is a demanding yerba mate that will appeal mainly to experienced mate drinkers because of the way it is prepared. It is nevertheless worth the extra time, as it delivers a unique taste experience and a good dose of energy that lasts a long time.
