Opis produktu
Barao Cha Mate Tostado "Frutas Vermelhas" Cocido (25 bags) 40 g
An unusual offering in tea bag form from the Barao brand, straight from Brazil. Why unusual? Above all, bagged yerba mate is usually a traditional or flavoured version, whereas this one is roasted. As a result, the infusion tastes completely different.
This particular pack contains 25 bags of 1.6 g each. Naturally, given the size of the bag and the amount of leaf, this form will be much milder than a traditional preparation. Even so, considering the amount of leaf, the infusion is still rich, with interesting notes typical of tostado: nuts, nougat and dark chocolate. On top of that, thanks to the red fruit flavourings, you can taste fruity accents of raspberry, strawberry and apple. They nicely complement the taste of the roasted erva mate.
Preparation is extremely simple: put one or two bags in a cup, pour over water at around 80 degrees and leave to steep for up to 10 minutes. Then remove the bag from the cup. After the first cup you can try one more refill, but the taste will be very mild ;)
You can also experiment and pour milk or a plant-based drink over it instead of hot water.
Barao "Red Fruits" is an interesting option to serve guests who have not yet had a chance to try Paraguayan holly, or for travelling when you do not have a gourd and bombilla with you.
