Probably the best version yet of this popular gadget - a black Yerbomos bearing the El Paisito logo. Stylish finish, a simple, uncomplicated design and the right construction make for enjoyable mate drinking.
The water container is made of stainless steel using double-wall technology, i.e. double walls that keep the optimal temperature in the container for longer. We are talking about up to 6 hours, starting at 80 and ending at 60 degrees Celsius. Sounds promising! The water tank itself holds about 700 ml, just right for a proper mate session.
The Yerbomos is leak-proof thanks to seals between the water container and the yerba chamber, as well as on the cap itself, which is additionally pressed down from the top. The mouthpiece folds down, so you can close the whole thing by screwing on the cap, reducing the risk of leaks to absolute zero. Then you screw the metal cap onto the yerba chamber and from the outside it looks like an ordinary thermos that doesn't draw attention.
The stainless steel construction plus the cap also makes the Yerbomos more durable - if you drop it, there is a good chance nothing will happen apart from small dents on the outside. With earlier versions, such an accident almost always damaged the water container. The Yerbomos is very easy to use and to clean, as its parts only need to be washed under running water with some detergent, then rinsed thoroughly and dried.
The Yerbomos El Paisito consists of three basic parts: a stainless steel water container, a yerba chamber and a lid with a mouthpiece. So it works on the same principle as the previous models. Pour water into the container (bottle) (max. 500 ml) and put the dry leaves into the cap (max. 25-35 g depending on the yerba mate variety). Then close it with the lid with the mouthpiece and your Yerbomos is ready to use. With every sip through the mouthpiece, water is drawn from the container and pours a portion of liquid over the leaves, which in turn reaches you as an infusion straight from the yerba. In the middle it also has a cream-coloured rubber band that makes the Yerbomos easier to hold.
The yerba chamber should hold up to 35 g of dry leaves, just right for a proper serving of yerba mate for several hours.
As all the parts are leak-proof, you can put it in a bag or backpack, but first make sure all parts are screwed on tightly and the seals are in the right places. However, because of the air vent it is recommended to carry it upright, as water may leak out.
We recommend filling it with slightly cooler water, about 60°.
Before first use, it is recommended to pour boiling water over the individual parts of the Yerbomos. After each use, it is recommended to clean it with water and some detergent.
