Yerba mate Yerbanica Tradicional Organica 500 g
New from Argentina: the Yerbanica brand offers a traditional yerba with no additives, its quality confirmed by numerous certificates. Inside a cardboard box with a simple but charming design you will find an inner paper bag, and in it 500 g of excellent yerba.
Inside the Yerbanica Tradicional pack you will find coarsely cut leaves with medium-sized stems and a minimal amount of dust. The leaves look extremely impressive and catch the eye. They will certainly appeal to everyone who prefers more coarsely cut yerbas. There are also some fairly large stems, and the amount of dust is small.
Yerbanica Organica has a relatively light scent, with hay-like, grainy and nutty, woody and bread-crust notes in the foreground and no smoky or heavy notes. This promises a very pleasant composition that is not overly intense.
Interestingly, the producer recommends pouring water at exactly 78°C over the leaves. The flavour of the infusion is fairly mild at first, but grows stronger with each refill. The flavour notes closely match the aromas: the infusion is strongly grainy and nutty, slightly woody and hay-like, with moderate bitterness and astringency, a pleasant creaminess, a drying sensation on the tongue and tea-like notes.
You can tell that the Paraguayan holly grown by the brand was well looked after throughout the entire production process, from planting through harvesting to ageing. It may not be the strongest yerba, but it is extremely pleasant and tasty, and it will please fans of Argentinian yerbas with a nice cut and moderate intensity.
The leaves hold up to many refills and provide a good energy boost for several hours. Be sure to try it!
