An interesting choice from the Brazilian brand Terra Mate in a version dedicated to cold preparation. This blend is enriched with mint and mint and lime flavourings - just right for warmer days.
Terra Mate Terere Menta Limao Premium contains relatively finely cut leaves of a nice green colour, a large amount of medium-sized stems and a moderate amount of dust. This cut fits perfectly with the Brazilian approach to terere.
The blend has a mild lime and a fairly intense, refreshing mint flavour, plus a light grassiness and moderate astringency. It is an ideal base for refreshing terere. Just add ice cubes, your favourite herbs or slices of fruit.
Terra Mate is a company with more than thirty years of experience in growing yerba mate; besides its terere line, it also offers Brazilian green gold, i.e. chimarrao.
