Yerba mate Salam Despalada 500 g
Another new product has arrived straight from the province of Misiones - this time a very leafy yerba from the Salam brand. It consists mainly of finely cut Paraguayan holly leaves with an above-average energy boost. Interestingly, you can see the contents through the pack, i.e. the finely cut leaves.
Another successful yerba from Argentina, whose taste is to some extent reminiscent of Arai Despalada, Ytacua or Taragui sin palo. The cut of the leaf leans slightly towards Uruguay thanks to the finely cut leaves, with almost no stems or dust.
The leaf has a strong cereal and nutty scent, which immediately heralds considerable intensity of flavour and energy. Salam Despalada is an extraordinary wealth of bitterness and astringency, supported by cereal and nutty notes and a light sweetness (creaminess). Two or three quick sips and you can feel its energising effect almost immediately, so we recommend caution in this respect :)
Salam Despalada has a delicate smoky note, but this does not bring the yerba closer to Paraguay - it is definitely a noteworthy yerba from Argentina whose flavourful leaves will impress many people. If you are looking for a strong, bold yerba, you have come to the right place - try it and you will not regret your choice.
