Tested in 2022, I liked it straight away. There was no other option - it had to be added to our range. You simply have to try it ;)
Although it is a BCP version, i.e. with reduced dust content, it is certainly not bland and will delight many a fan of Paraguayan holly, just as it delighted me!
When you open a pack of Secadero, you are hit by the scent of a campfire, a gently smoky, smoked aroma, extremely full-bodied and inviting. The leaves vary in size - you will find both medium-sized and more finely ground ones. The stems are medium-sized and the amount of dust is rather minimal.
The taste of the infusion can be described as smoky, astringent and bitter, but not overdone, which makes it fit perfectly into the style of yerba on the border of Argentinian and Paraguayan flavours. In the background, the characteristic smokiness reminiscent of smoked plum makes itself strongly felt, along with woody and nutty notes.
It delivers a solid energy boost and is extremely long-lasting - ideal for lovers of classic varieties with above-average stimulation and an intense taste. Try this unusual new product straight from the province of Misiones in Argentina.
