Yerba Mate Grapia Milenaria Elaborada con palo 500 g
A classic mate from Argentina produced by the El Colono agricultural cooperative from Campo Ramon in the province of Misiones, with a rich flavour and a wonderful forest aroma. It owes all this to the passion put into its production and to natural methods of processing the yerba mate leaves and stems.
The product is described as artisanal. Its foundation is drying the plant according to a traditional method known since the times of the Guarani Indians, i.e. over 400 years ago. Besides drying (Secado), another key element of the production process is the natural aging (seasoning) of the product. The yerba mate leaves and stems develop depth of flavour over 24 months.
In a pack of Grapia Milenaria mate you will find fairly finely cut leaves, medium-sized stems and quite a lot of dust for an Argentinian mate. The flavour can be described as bold and deep, with noticeable smoky, woody and vegetal notes. Add to this a pleasant bitterness, moderate (low) acidity and a forest aroma you notice as soon as you open the pack. The energising effect of the leaves also matters - here we are dealing with a truly strongly energising variety that will appeal to lovers of classic, energising yerba mate.
Grapia Milenaria Elaborada con palo is a novelty on the Polish yerba mate market and certainly one of those you have to try at least once. Available in limited quantities - we recommend hurrying with your purchase.
