Opis produktu
Yerba mate Flor de Jardin Tradicional 500 g
Another traditional yerba from the province of Misiones and a brand-new brand in our range. So let us welcome Flor de Jardin, whose logo shows two small trees on a yellow background. As befits a Tradicional version, it fits perfectly into the canon of traditional yerba from Misiones. Interestingly, the brand's history dates back to 1973 and is partly connected with Poland through the Czajowski family, one of the founding families of the Flor de Jardin cooperative.
Which does not mean it is just like any other or mediocre - quite the opposite. Flor de Jardin Tradicional has a hay-like, earthy, woody and slightly cereal aroma. The leaf is ground relatively finely for the Argentinian style: the leaves are medium-sized, there are some stems and a fair amount of dust, which also affects the taste.
A deep, low earthy note is strongly noticeable, which will intrigue and entice some, but have the opposite effect on others. The infusion is quite astringent and slightly bitter, with noticeable cereal and nutty notes.
Worth mentioning is the manufacturer's recommendation to make the first pour with water at up to 40 degrees Celsius, and then at no more than 80 degrees.
In terms of energy it delivers a solid boost and gets you going, and it is also nicely long-lasting. So if you are looking for a traditional Argentinian yerba that is strong in both taste and effect, go ahead and reach for Flor de Jardin.
