Opis produktu
Yerba Mate Es Cosa Buena Para Nerviosos 1000 g
A new product that is in fact a return to our range, but in new packaging and under a changed brand name. It used to be available under the la Selva brand, now it is "Es cosa Buena"; the contents have not changed, and neither has the taste - it is just as good as before.
A fairly mild Uruguayan-style mate with a bouquet of herbs meant to soothe frayed nerves and help you relax, while also providing a dose of energy. Es cosa Buena is produced in Brazil but intended mainly for the Uruguayan market because of the special leaf cut and the overall character of the blend. This herbal variety contains finely ground leaves, a fair amount of dust and two added herbs: silver linden and mburucuya/blue passionflower. These herbs are not particularly well known to most of us, but they were chosen for their relaxing and calming effect. Still, as is usual with Uruguayan-style mate, the infusion also delivers a solid dose of energy.
Because of how finely the leaves are ground, this type of mate needs to be prepared using the mound method. Otherwise drinking Es cosa Buena para Nerviosos will be very difficult and fine particles of leaf and dust may clog the bombilla. Interestingly, it contains no stems.
Es Cosa Buena para Nerviosos combines the best features of Brazilian and Argentinian mate with a delicate herbal note in the background. The taste of this variety can be described as remarkably mild, with a pleasant, slightly grassy aroma. There is a gentle astringency, the bitterness is reduced to an absolute minimum, and the added herbs give a feeling of delicate sweetness. Many people say its taste is somewhat reminiscent of green tea. As is usually the case with Uruguayan-style mate, the herbs are merely a background for the Paraguayan holly.
An interesting alternative to classic Uruguayan Tipo PU-1 mate. Recommended rather for more experienced drinkers because of how finely it is ground and the amount of dust it contains.
