Opis produktu
Yerba Mate Campesino Manzanilla y Anis 500 g
A strongly herbal offering from Paraguay by Campesino, a brand highly regarded in Poland whose rich range has become a permanent part of our shop as well. This time it comes with a new option with a strong chamomile and anise flavour. Perfect for a refreshing terere on hot summer days!
When you open the pack, you will see fairly finely ground yerba, mainly leaves with some stems and quite a lot of dust - you could say a classic Paraguayan grind/cut.
Chamomile and anise Campesino has an intriguing scent: as expected, the chamomile aroma comes first, followed by the anise. The aroma is slightly smoky, intense and extremely pleasant.
From the first pour the flavour is remarkably rich, with the chamomile coming through quite strongly. This gives the infusion a light sweetness, along with moderate bitterness and astringency, all rounded off by an anise aftertaste. In the background there are subtle smoky and hay-like notes.
As terere it is an excellent choice for hot days, adding refreshment and the energy you need to get things done, and an interesting option for fans of herbal blends. In terms of yield, Campesino Manzanilla y Anis performs solidly, standing up to refills for many hours.
