Yerba Mate Amanda Especial 500 g
A classic Argentine mate from the Amanda brand with a Polish touch. Amanda yerba mate from the province of Misiones was founded by the Szychowski family (more precisely by Jan Szychowski, a Polish immigrant) at the beginning of the 20th century. The La Cachuera factory, still operating today, is one of the leading ones and can boast the high quality of its products.
At first glance, the interesting, modern packaging design stands out and undoubtedly catches the eye. Yerba mate Amanda Especial contains selected medium-sized leaves from the finest plants, as well as stems. It is characterised by a subtle but complex flavour. After opening the pack you will notice the scent of meadow, woody notes and a delicate hint of dried plum. The aroma makes you want to brew it straight away.
After the first sip, the flavour of this mate strongly resembles Mate Rojo in its Suave version. At first you will notice a mild bitterness and woody notes. Over time, a strongly puckering aftertaste appears on the tongue, along with tannins, a delicate sweetness and a light grassiness with a refined nutty note in the background. The taste is extremely pleasant and quickly fills the mouth, delivering a very positive experience.
Amanda Especial doesn't have a particularly strong stimulating effect, so you can reach for it even in the late afternoon without risking a sleepless night. It is also an interesting composition of flavours that will satisfy both beginners and those more experienced in the yerba world.
