Opis produktu
Yerba mate Alba Nueva Tradicional 500 g
A new brand in our range, with a distinctive leaf in its logo symbolising the Paraguayan holly. It is owned by Zaira Nara, a model and actress of Lebanese descent, well known in Argentina and around the world, who is quite often photographed with this very yerba mate.
Alba Nueva Tradicional is a classic Argentinian yerba without additives, with a solid energy kick. Inside the pack you will find medium-sized leaves with some stems and a moderate amount of dust.
When you open the pack, you are greeted by a fairly intense aroma dominated by woody and grain-and-nut notes. There are also hay-like and tea-like notes, plus a scent reminiscent of a campfire.
The first infusions deliver moderate flavour, and the brew itself is quite mild. Over time, however, it gains a decidedly stronger character and intensity. In the infusion you will find a pleasant bitterness and astringency, woody-nutty and hay-like notes, as well as the creaminess typical of many Argentinian yerbas.
Alba Nueva Tradicional is one of the solidly energising yerba mates and offers good yield, which guarantees many hours of mate drinking with a tasty Argentinian yerba without additives.
A lighter and milder option from this brand is also available: Alba Nueva Suave.
