Wooden bombilla Palo Santo 19 cm Selecta
An exceptional bombilla made of Palo Santo wood with a rich aroma that comes from the resin released by this tree species. Palo Santo bombillas are considered traditional and have been used and valued in South America for generations. They fit perfectly into South American folklore.
A Palo Santo bombilla is handcrafted, so no two pieces are identical; each one will differ to a greater or lesser extent in shade or, for example, in how the filtering holes are made. This makes every piece unique and one of a kind. Their variety has no negative effect whatsoever on how they work.
Each bombilla is approx. 19 cm long, so we recommend it for vessels with a capacity above 250 ml or taller than 10 cm. It has a dozen or so small holes for filtering the infusion. The wooden Palo Santo bombilla is the ideal product for people who value high-quality products of natural origin.
The Palo Santo bombilla is suitable for drinking mate both cold (terere) and hot. It is intended for yerba mate varieties with low or medium grinding. With finely ground varieties such as Canarias or Colon, there may be problems with filtering the infusion. We recommend rinsing the bombilla thoroughly after each use. Never wash the bombilla with detergents, let alone in a dishwasher.
