Termolar FlipTop "Negro" thermos 2.5 l - for terere
A large thermos with a black body that keeps cold (chilled) water at the right temperature for a long time. It is designed to keep the temperature as low as possible for as long as possible, which makes it extremely helpful for preparing refreshing terere. Made by the renowned Brazilian brand Termolar, which knows thermoses like few others! The thermos is available in four colour versions: red, grey, blue and the newest one, black.
The FlipTop "Negro" thermos has a plastic liner that keeps the liquid inside cold for a long time. Other advantages include a handle that makes pouring water and holding the thermos easier. There is also a special grip that makes it easier to carry.
The manufacturer guarantees that it keeps cold water at the right temperature for up to 8 hours, and water with ice cubes for up to 20 hours - enough for sipping refreshing terere all day long.
An additional advantage is the special spout, which makes refilling the gourd much easier. The water flows in an even, narrow stream and there is no risk of spilling, as with some thermoses on the market that are not designed specifically for yerba mate. A grip is also included, giving you even more control over the stream of water, so your carefully prepared mound stays safer. Just remember to pour with a fairly decisive movement.
The FlipTop Termolar has a wide mouth (opening), so you can easily add ice cubes, fruit or anything else you like. It is a perfect gadget for hot summer days that lets you enjoy refreshing yerba mate.
We recommend adding plenty of ice cubes, ideally in a 50/50 ratio - then you will enjoy a refreshing infusion for a long time. The thermos is intended for cold liquids only; do not pour warm water or other warm liquids into it.
