A classic Paraguayan mate with a strong stimulating effect, in a traditional style
Yerba mate Colon Tradicional consists of the leaves and stems of Paraguayan mate. The resulting infusion has a strong, slightly bitter taste. For this reason we recommend this type of mate mainly to experienced mate drinkers who know and enjoy the astringent, bitter taste of mate. People who have not yet tried yerba mate, on the other hand, may be put off by that taste. For them we suggest milder varieties (suave) or ones with added fruit (naranja, limon, etc.).
