Opis produktu
Mate Cocido Adelga Mate Hierbas Naturales Tradicional 25 x 1.5 g
A quick-to-brew option from the Adelga Mate brand from Argentina, available in small tea bags. The pack contains 25 bags for fast brewing in a mug or a cup rather than in a matero (mate gourd).
Each bag is individually sealed in a paper wrapper, so it keeps its aroma and flavour intense for longer. Besides Paraguayan holly, this blend contains lemon verbena, green tea, peppermint and poleo. In terms of intensity and effect it is definitely milder than traditionally prepared mate, but it is meant for other occasions rather than for everyday drinking. The brew is relatively light, yet it gives you a taste of what traditionally prepared yerba is like.
The infusion has a pleasant taste and a gentle bitterness with citrus, mint and tea notes. An ideal choice for a light brew at any time of day.
Preparation is very simple: put one or two bags in a cup, pour water at about 70-80 degrees over them and leave to steep for up to 10 minutes. Then take the bag out of the cup. After the first cup you can try one more refill, but the taste will be very mild ;)
Mate Cocido Adelga Mate is also a good way to treat guests who have never tried Paraguayan holly, or to take on a trip when you don't have your gourd and bombilla with you.
