Erva Mate Parana Tropeira Tipo PU-1 500 g
A new edition of the Uruguayan-style yerba from Mate Parana. This time the airtight packaging has been dropped, allowing the yerba to age and mature naturally in the pack. The new packaging design is also worth noting: each Mate Parana product now has its own individual pack and pattern, whereas previously the packs differed on the outside practically only by the sticker. There is also the brand's Latin motto, "carpe diem", which is now printed on the pack instead of appearing on a cardboard insert inside.
When you open the pack of Mate Parana Tropeira, a pleasant aroma without heavy accents greets you. It is led by nettle, grassy, seaweed, grainy and woody notes.
Inside EMP Tropeira you will find only medium and finely ground leaves of a green-grey colour, with practically no dust or stems. The leaf undoubtedly has an interesting aroma and a nice cut, so there is nothing left to do but check how it tastes.
How does the new edition of Tropeira taste?
At first it is fairly mild and light, with a delicate, unobtrusive bitterness. With each refill, however, the intensity rises very quickly and the infusion becomes distinct and bold. The bitterness is much stronger, joined by a drying sensation on the tongue, moderate astringency and interesting accents: grainy-nutty, nettle, seaweed and grassy, plus a light creaminess.
The infusion keeps a high level of intensity and does not drop off for many refills. It delivers an exceptional taste experience, performing better than other well-known brands such as Canarias, Sara or Baldo.
The flavour is undoubtedly full and rich, so it should appeal to every fan of the Uruguayan style - Mate Parana has done a great job delivering such an excellent yerba.
Like other yerbas in this style, it is very long-lasting, works very solidly in terms of stimulation and provides an above-average dose of energy for many hours.
Erva Mate Parana is a small family business growing and producing Paraguayan holly on a small scale. Its products have rarely been available in Poland until now, so it is worth taking the opportunity to try this excellent product made with passion and love.
