Erva Mate Cultyvada Chimarrao Nativa 1000 g Vacuum
One of the newer chimarraos in our range, available in an economical pack. It comes from the state of Rio Grande do Sul and caught our attention with its unusual packaging: from the outside it is an ordinary pack, but once opened, you can see the contents are hermetically sealed inside. This way the chima keeps the beautiful intense green colour of its leaves and its bold aroma for longer.
Cultyvada is a chima from a fresh harvest (01.04.2023), so its contents will certainly not disappoint! The brand itself has existed since 1960, so it is safe to say they have experience in producing "green gold".
The finely ground leaves have an intense green colour, and you can also see some more coarsely cut leaves and a considerable amount of stems. Because of this, it is a good idea to mix the contents of the pack from time to time.
The dried leaves of Cultyvada Nativa Chimarrao are extremely aromatic: grassy, nettle-like and fresh. They definitely make you want to prepare it right away.
What does Cultyvada taste like? It gains character with each refill, with noticeable nettle and grassy notes; the flavour profile is dry, slightly sweet and tea-like. Over time the bitterness and astringency also increase, making the infusion exceptionally rich and intense. The flavour spreads pleasantly across the palate and lingers on the tongue for a long time.
Flavour is one thing, but how does it do in terms of yield and stimulation? It is undoubtedly an extremely long-lasting chimarrao that will provide a solid energy boost for many hours of mate drinking.
Without a doubt, this is a very successful chimarrao that we warmly recommend. Especially since we do not have much of it in stock. Lovers of Brazilian green gold with intense flavours will be pleased!
