A new choice for fans of roasted yerba mate! From a brand whose history goes back to 1834!
Mate Tostado tastes simply excellent with milk, as mate de leche. In short, this means pouring warm milk over the leaves instead of water. The sweetness of the milk makes an interesting combination with the flavours of the roasted mate.
Mate de leche should only be drunk from glass or ceramic gourds. Do not use gourds made of natural materials such as calabash or wood, as this may damage them.
The pack contains medium-sized leaves and stems of Paraguayan holly that have been roasted, which significantly affects their flavour and aroma.
Mate Real Tostado can be prepared in many ways; one of them is the aforementioned mate de leche, i.e. yerba with milk. Another well-known way is to pour only cold water over the leaves. To prepare refreshing terere with Cha Mate Tostado, fill the gourd with 1-2 cm of leaves and then pour ice-cold water over them. An ideal option for hot summer days.
In an infusion made with warm water or milk, you will taste notes of nuts, almonds, dark chocolate, cocoa and even coffee. It is a true symphony of flavours that you will surely remember for a long time.
If you opt for classic preparation with warm water, we recommend using less leaf, i.e. no more than 1/2 of the gourd's volume. This is because prepared this way the infusion will be extremely intense and strong, so to avoid that, use a little less mate than usual.
