Yerba mate Verdeflor Melisa 500 g
An interesting option from Argentina for fans of very mild versions with moderate bitterness and a low energy boost.
Verdeflor contains poleo and lemon balm as additives. The base, of course, is Paraguayan holly. In this version it consists mainly of fairly finely cut leaves with visible pieces of the herbs mentioned above and stems. The amount of dust is moderate or small; it does not get in the way at all and does not make preparing the infusion difficult.
It is worth adding that the Verdeflor Melisa blend is exceptionally aromatic - the yerba has a pleasant tea-like and herbal aroma. You can also notice mint, which of course comes from the poleo, whose scent and flavour are similar to mint.
The flavour of the infusion can be described as light and mild; the bitterness is delicate, as is the astringency. Herbal, minty and tea-like accents are noticeable. The flavour is interesting and somewhat resembles a combination of chamomile and green tea - even though neither of these is among the ingredients :)
The blend is suitable for preparing both hot and cold, as a refreshing terere that helps you cool down and relax. Due to its low stimulating effect, it is also recommended for later in the day without problems falling asleep afterwards. It will brighten body and mind and help you unwind after a stressful day.
