Yerba Mate Rosamonte Premium 500 g
A relatively new product on the yerba mate market: a premium version from the well-known Rosamonte brand. The producer promises a natural ageing process lasting 24 months, during which the leaves gain character and a more complex flavour.
Inside a pack of Rosamonte Premium you will find coarsely cut leaves and stems and a moderate amount of dust. Everything comes in a sturdy cardboard box that can easily be closed again after opening. The mate itself is in a well-sealed paper bag, so you can be sure it will keep its flavour and aroma.
The flavour of this new Rosamonte mate can be described as very pleasant and in keeping with Argentinian varieties. It resembles Liebig Original, which is certainly a big compliment for this new version. You get a relatively mild mate with a noticeable but not overpowering bitterness, a pleasant acidity and a moderate dose of stimulation.
A very good choice for beginner yerba mate lovers as well as for more experienced drinkers looking for new taste experiences. They should not be disappointed with this version.
