Opis produktu
Yerba mate Las Tunas Tradicional 500 g
An Argentinian option from Las Tunas, a brand previously unavailable in Poland. The pack contains leaves of various sizes, both coarser cut and more finely ground. Add to that medium-sized twigs and a moderate amount of dust.
On opening the pack you will notice a fairly intense aroma: woody and grainy notes come to the fore, followed by smoky and hay-like ones. This makes the combination of scents interesting and encourages a quick tasting.
The infusion has a strongly woody and grainy flavour with noticeable astringency, bitterness and sweetness. All of this is broken up by a smoky accent and a drying aftertaste on the tongue, with nutty notes in the background. The flavour profile is exceptionally rich, intense and bold. This is definitely the Argentinian style at its best.
Las Tunas is exceptionally resistant to refills and keeps the right level of intensity for a very long time, while providing a solid energy boost for many hours of drinking mate.
We will certainly come back to it more than once, and we strongly recommend that you try it while it is available. Those looking for bold flavours and above-average stimulation will certainly be pleased.
