Yerba mate La Dicha Tradicional 1000 g
A traditional Argentinian offering from the niche brand La Dicha, available in Poland for the first time. It comes in several interesting variants - this one is the traditional version. Available in an economical 1 kg pack.
The simple paper packaging with its rough texture invites you to open it quickly and give it a try. It is aged for 24 months, during which it develops character and its flavour matures.
It has a nice cut: fairly large leaves mixed with medium-sized stems, plus a moderate amount of dust. It catches the eye with its looks alone, not to mention its other qualities.
When you open the pack, your nose should pick up woody, hay-like and nutty aromas with a gentle smokiness. The aroma seems fairly light and not very intense, but I promise the infusion will taste much more intense, practically from the very first sip.
La Dicha Tradicional is astringent and bitter almost immediately, slightly smoky, with grainy and nutty notes, a light sweetness and a hint of roasted sunflower seeds in the background. The intensity of the infusion builds up, especially the astringency and bitterness. The rich bouquet of flavours spreads pleasantly across the palate, and the astringency and bitterness leave a distinctive aftertaste that lingers for a long time.
You can see and taste that this is an extraordinary yerba that delivers an above-average dose of energy, letting you enjoy the flavour of the infusion for many hours. It is intended for lovers of niche Argentinian yerbas who appreciate unique products like this, made with passion and love.
