Palo Santo goblet matero with "el Apache" engraving 140-160 ml
Among the many different options, Palo Santo will surely satisfy even the most demanding customers. So what is the secret of its appeal? The scent! Made of Palo Santo wood, these gourds have a distinctive, remarkably pleasant citrus scent that fills the whole matero (mate gourd). This is all thanks to the aromatic resin released from the wood with each refill, which passes into the infusion and enriches its flavour.
The gourd offered here can be considered unique thanks to its beautiful engraving. In the centre it features a hand-made decoration with a Native American motif, which we named "el Apache" because of the beautiful feathered headdress. The image is surrounded by ornaments, creating a true masterpiece. The gourd is relatively small (approx. 140-150 ml capacity), which is an advantage: it is small and handy, doesn't take up much space and allows full and efficient use of the yerba poured in.

Its care and preparation are extremely important to keep it in good condition, i.e. to avoid possible cracks. It is also worth looking at gourds with a metal fitting - they are the most functional, durable and robust. Compared with matero without a fitting, they last longer and are more resistant to damage.
As for everyday use, a good practice is to empty the gourd of mate leftovers on the same day you use it. After emptying, simply rinse the inside gently, wipe it thoroughly with a paper towel and leave it to dry upright in a well-ventilated place for at least 3-4 hours or until the next use the following day.
The fitting may have slight dents and scratches. Cracks that appear during use are not covered by warranty claims.
