Opis produktu

Yerba mate Meta Mate Unfiltered Organic 500 g Doypack

A new, traditional yerba from the Meta Mate brand with the intriguing name Unfiltered.
Inside the Doypack you will find fresh, unaged Brazilian leaves of quite varied cut. The leaves, both the coarsely cut and the more finely ground ones, are a deep green, and there is a visible admixture of stems, from tiny ones to large pieces that catch the eye straight away. The amount of dust is moderate and will in no way prevent proper preparation of the infusion - any bombilla will cope with it.
Unlike Argentinian yerbas, this Meta Mate yerba is not aged - it is packed straight after grinding and drying. As a result, the leaves keep a fairly intense green colour and a pronounced aroma.
Meta Mate Unfiltered is based on leaves from the Baldo brand's wild-growing sites in the Atlantic (Rain)forest region. It can be prepared both hot and cold, depending on your personal preference.
When you open the pack, you are greeted by a strongly herbaceous aroma - seaweed-like, tea-like, nettle-like and wheaty - without heavy or smoky notes. It can be described as typical of fresh Brazilian yerbas of this kind. What can be said with certainty, though, is that it is pronounced, robust and tempts you to fill your cup quickly.
From the start the infusion has solid bitterness and astringency, it is very creamy with a drying sensation on the tongue, and you will also find tea-like, seaweed-like, nettle-like and grainy notes. A very successful combination of flavours; as with the aroma, there are no heavier or smoky notes in the taste either. It charms with its freshness and lightness, successfully withstanding successive refills.
In terms of energy it is a very solid choice that will easily deliver enough energy for many hours of mate drinking, delighting you with an intense and interestingly complex infusion. Thanks to the resealable doypack, you can easily close the remaining leaves in the pack and protect them from external factors, so they keep their intense aroma and strongly herbaceous, fresh flavour for longer.

Meta Mate is a company/brand that in recent years has delivered many cult yerbas, such as Leafy Melody, Harpia or the fresh "1" and "23". Their products remain very popular and keep encouraging more mate drinkers to explore their range.
