Opis produktu
Chimarrao pad Bortonaggio "Eu Só Começo" 16 cm
A special pad which, thanks to its large diameter, is ideal for chimarrao and wide-mouthed vessels, such as a cuia or others of a similar shape. It will help you build the mound using the Gaucho method, and it can also serve as a coaster for the vessel itself, protecting your furniture and tablecloths from dirt and hard-to-remove stains.
Above all, however, the Bortonaggio pad is meant for preparing the so-called mound. Simply cover the opening of the vessel with the cork pad, turn it upside down and shake it vigorously a few times. Then tilt the vessel at a 45-degree angle and shake it a few more times so that the mound of dried yerba settles properly on one side of the vessel. After that, all that's left is to pour in the water, insert the bombilla with its mouthpiece covered, and enjoy your favourite mate.
In this colour version, apart from the manufacturer's name and logo (Bortonaggio) at the top and bottom, the middle features a Portuguese phrase in white on a green background. Loosely translated, it means "my day only starts once I've had my chimarrao", and we know a few people who certainly start their day exactly that way ;)
