Opis produktu
Barao Cha Mate Tostado (roasted) 250 g
A new offering from the renowned Brazilian brand Barao, this time in an unusual edition. Inside the pack you will find deep brown leaves and stems of Paraguayan holly that have been roasted, which gives the dried herb its distinctive aroma and flavour. It comes in a paper carton on the outside and a sealed bag on the inside, which preserves the intense flavour and aroma of the yerba. Available in a 250 g pack.
Mate Tostado tastes simply excellent with milk, prepared as mate de leche. In short, this means pouring warm milk over the yerba instead of water. The sweetness of the milk makes an interesting pairing with the flavours of the roasted mate.
Mate de leche should be drunk only from glass or ceramic vessels. Do not use vessels made of natural materials such as calabash gourds or wood, as the milk may damage them.
Inside the pack you will find medium-sized roasted leaves and stems of Paraguayan holly with a very intense aroma - strongly nutty, nougat-like and reminiscent of dark chocolate.
Barao Cha Mate can be prepared in many ways, one of them being the aforementioned mate de leche, i.e. yerba with milk. Another well-known way is to use only cold water. To prepare a refreshing terere based on Cha Mate Tostado, pour in 1-2 cm of yerba and then top it up with ice-cold water. The perfect option for hot summer days.
In an infusion made with warm water or milk you will taste notes of nuts, almonds, dark chocolate, cocoa and even coffee. It is a true symphony of flavours that you will certainly remember for a long time.
If you opt for the classic preparation with warm water, we recommend using less yerba, i.e. no more than 1/2 of the gourd. This is because in this combination the infusion will be extremely intense and strong, so to avoid that, use a little less mate than usual.
