Yerba Mate Triunfo Large Cut Aged Organic 454 g
A new brand in our range called Triunfo, straight from Brazil, offering high-quality products backed by the relevant certificates. Here we have a version with relatively coarsely cut, aged yerba mate leaves of a golden-brown colour.
Triunfo Aged Commercial contains medium-sized yerba mate leaves and stems. This version contains a small amount of dust, which does not make preparing the infusion any harder. It is worth mentioning the ageing process, which lasts from 18 to 24 months. During this time the leaves gain additional flavour qualities. No artificial fertilisers or pesticides are used in cultivation - it is definitely a top-quality product.
The product can be considered smoke-free dried, a so-called yerba mate sin humo. As a result, there are no pronounced smoky notes in either the aroma or the taste of the infusion. Triunfo Aged offers moderate bitterness and light astringency, with interesting woody and herbal notes in the background. Still, the infusion is not overly intense or bold, so it will please yerba mate lovers at every stage of their adventure with the green gold of South America.
In terms of energy it is quite solid, so the aged version from Triunfo will give you energy for a good few hours. If you are looking for varieties of relatively moderate intensity and value high-quality yerba mate, this is definitely a choice for you.
